Fall 2020 Update

Fulford Academy Fall 2020 Update:

Dear Families, 

With the recent announcement from the Ontario government, we are thrilled to be welcoming back students to campus and into our new dormitory this September!

Thank you to our families, agents, partners, and staff who have continued to support us during these challenging times. It is your supportive patience and dedication that makes the Fulford Academy community so strong. 

Listed below is our tentative Fall 2020 update and reopening plan. We will continue to take guidance from the government and follow the protocols of our local health unit. Should there be any changes, we will communicate them to you immediately. 

Tentative Schedule of Opening:

August 25th

• Students will arrive in Ottawa or Montreal and be met by a staff member from Fulford Academy
• Students will be transported to the Fulford Academy dorm to begin their on-campus quarantine 

September 8

• On-campus quarantine ends

September 9

• First-day school orientation and welcome

September 10

• Classes begin 

For students who are arriving before August 25th or are arranging their own self-quarantine, travel details and information regarding that quarantine must be sent to your Custodian prior to arrival. 

For students who have no choice but to arrive after August 25, or for further information, we ask that you contact our Dean of Students, Devin Payne, at devin.payne@fulfordacademy.com. We will continue to monitor the situation, and as always, our students’ safety is our first priority. We are looking ahead to September with excitement and optimism after demonstrating what a resilient community we are a part of.
