We have rolling admission process but encourage everyone to apply 2-4 months before the program starts to have enough time to apply for visa/ study permit if needed and prepare for the departure.
The admission team would be delighted to arrange a campus tour. The tours can be arranged Monday-Friday from 10:00 - 16:00. A campus tour normally takes 1 hour. Please contact admissions@fulfordacademy.com to arrange your campus visit.
Tuition includes: accommodation, 3 meals a day and snacks, custodianship, school books & supplies, health insurance, ESL support (if needed), tie & cardigan, 2 house shirts, mandatory activities, pick up/ drop off at the airport on specific dates (see calendar), activities & clubs.
- Overhead account (Student account) - only during the school year: CAD$ 2000 (initial deposit)
- Application fee: CAD$ 200
- Private tutoring/ classes (instrument, drama, vocal)
- Specific clubs & activities
This account is used for: airport transportation (outside of the specific travel dates), damage deposit, optional trips, specific activities & clubs and other miscellaneous charges subject to a service charge of 15%.
Students aged 11 and younger have the option to get an allowance from their Fulford Student Account while they learn how to regulate their spending. In this case only, an estimated figure of $600 per term will be required. Please contact: joy.lee@fulfordacademy.com
For all students older than 11: Fulford Academy will help open a TD bank account at no extra costs. Parents will receive the banking information within the first two weeks of the school to be able to deposit money. Student will have a banking card to pay at any store or to withdraw cash.
Students are not allowed to have more than CAD$ 100 in cash at any time.
The only times we close the school /dorm: 2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week in March and 3 weeks after school school year.
During our March Break we offer a school trip that any student can join (extra costs).

All Fulford students will bring a laptop or iPad.
Academic Dress Code items to purchase in advance:
Boys: grey dress pants; white dress shirts with a collar; plain white undershirts if desired; black dress shoes; black belt; black or grey socks.
Girls: grey dress pants and/or grey skirt (no more than 1 inch above the knee); and white dress shirts with collar; white bra or camisole; black dress shoes (maximum 1.5 inch heel); black or navy knee socks or tights to wear with skirt; black belt and black or grey socks with pants.
For sports, students are asked to bring their own sport shorts and jogging or track pants (all in navy blue or black) and two pairs of running shoes; one for indoor and one for outdoor use.
Fulford Academy provides a Fulford tie, a school cardigan, and 2 gym t-shirts. Additional ties and cardigans can be purchased at the school during the year.
Summer School Dress code:
Students : will need to bring a minimum of two pairs of their own beige/tan pants and shorts (medium knee length)
For sports: Students are asked to bring a minimum of two gym navy blue or black shorts, and two pairs of running shoes; one for indoor and one for outdoor use as well as socks.
Fulford Academy provides students with two Fulford dress code shirts for classes and two sport shirts. Additional shirts can be purchased at the school.
Health Insurance is a requirement for all students studying at Fulford Academy and is included in the program fee.
Fulford Academy will register students with a “Student Guard” Health insurance plan.
We have 4 students per room and they are chosen according to age and grade. We try to have different language speakers per room.
Students will be provided with bedding but can bring their own if desired. They do have to bring their own towels.
We have a laundry service for our students. They are assigned a “laundry day” upon arrival and need to drop their laundry off in the morning and it will be ready at night to take back to the dorm.
Children and adolescents attending primary or secondary school in Ontario must have proof of immunization against the following designated diseases:
- Diphtheria
- Tetanus
- Polio
- Measles
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Meningococcal Disease – NEW requirement for 2014/15 school year
- Pertussis (whooping cough) – NEW requirement for 2014/15 school year
- Varicella (chickenpox) – NEW requirement for 2014/15 school year, for children born in 2010 or later
