Title: Recruitment Officer

 

Reports: Head of School

 

Summary: Recruit students locally and internationally in defined markets; builds strong relationships with families and agents; attend and participate in recruitment functions.

 

Duties:

Handling inquiries by email and telephone.

Providing accurate information and completing regular follow up with prospective students

Administration of re-enrolment of current students

Administrative work including but not limited to: maintaining electronic and hard copy of files, preparing documents as necessary.

Inter-departmental collaboration as necessary to ensure accuracy of responses to students, agents, parents.

Active tracking and logging of correspondence. 

Adherence to procedures in place to ensure proper filing and processing of documents/applications.

Works closely with the Head of School when establishing targets and recruitment strategies

Schedule and interview potential students

Arrange visits and tours for prospective students and parents

Promote and travel locally, domestically and internationally to recruit and meet potential students and families as well as current parents, alumni, partners/agents and others as required

Organize and plan travel

Build and maintain relationships with new and current agents

Build and maintain relationships with families and alumni via communication, visits and events

Planning events/open house in liaison with the Marketing and Communication Manager

Correspondence with partners and families

 

Education:

Bachelor’s degree required or related experience

 

Experience:

1-3 years of admission experience

Experience working with international communities and customers from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds

Has demonstrated good judgement in challenging situations

 

Skills:

Excellent planning and organization skills. 

Excellent interpersonal skills with children and adults.

Demonstrate maturity and solid leadership skills. 

Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute to the collaborative efforts of a team.

Excellent customer service orientation and relationship building skills

Working knowledge of MS Office, Office 365 and Database (e.g. Salesforce)

Multi-tasking, great attention to detail and effective communication skills

Strong follow-up and tracking skills

Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Organization, flexibility, and energetic
Ability to travel domestically and internationally for a minimum of 30 days, up to a maximum of 90 days annually depending on the needs of the school
Second language is an advantage

Experience in or knowledge of immigration/travel requirements is considered an asset.

Fulford Academy - Job Description

Title: Residential Advisor

Reports to: Residential Life Manager

Job Summary:
Provide consistent care ensuring safety and security while acting as a parent substitute. Work in conjunction with the residential team to organize, deliver and supervise extra-curricular activities for students during their residential time. Supervise student free time and oversee bedtime and weekend morning routines.

Duties and Tasks: 

  • Act as a mentor and role model to students providing personal support.
  • and behavior, ensuring that students meet school expectations and follow residential guidelines.
  • Develop, organize, lead, and supervise students involved in extra-curricular activities.
  • Assess and evaluate the need for first aid and/or emergency assistance.
  • Provide support to students' emotional and physical wellbeing.
  • Supervise students during free-time and oversee bed-time routines.
  • Transport and supervise students to off-campus activities in the Fulford Academy minivans.
  • Supervise students in the dining hall during mealtimes while promoting conversation and teaching manners.
  • Additional related duties may be assigned

Qualifications

Education:
College or university education in a relevant field, or post-secondary education in progress.

Experience:
2 years of event planning experience in a professional environment working with children.

Job Description

The Kitchen Assistant cooks and prepares meals before directing and serving to students and staff. The Assistant is responsible for cleaning the kitchen and dining areas including operating the dishwasher and other kitchen machinery to clean dishes, eating utensils and food preparation equipment.  The assistant is responsible for the general maintenance of the kitchen equipment (e.g. sharpens knives, blades, and performs user-service on machines). Upon receiving deliveries, the assistant will aid in the storage of food, kitchen equipment, and general supplies. 

 

Qualifications

The ideal applicant has two years of experience in a professional kitchen/food service environment. Must be detail-oriented and work with close attention and care for the distribution of safe food products. Good interpersonal skills with children and must have a clear Vulnerable Persons Criminal Record Check.

 

Compensation

Salary $31,200.00 - 40 Hours per week
